CNC lathe chip conveyor, also known as CNC lathe chip conveyor, is used to transport metal chips cut by metal cutting machines to a certain direction of the machine. Machine tool chip conveyor/chip conveyor classification: divided into chain plate chip conveyor, scraper chip conveyor, magnetic chip conveyor, and spiral chip conveyor. Summary of the characteristics of various types of CNC lathe chip conveyors:

1. The scraper type chip removal conveyor has a wide range of transportation speed selection, high operating efficiency, and diverse effective chip removal widths, providing sufficient selection scale, such as CNC machine tools, machining centers, grinders, and automatic lines. The scraper is equipped with special chains at both ends for effective handling of metal sand and abrasive particles in grinding processes, as well as aluminum shavings in the automotive industry.

2. The height and dispersion distance of the scraper can be randomly planned, so the transmission is smooth, the structure is compact, and the strength is good. And according to user needs, steel mesh backwash, scraper, vortex separator, oil-water separator, etc. can be added to form an inductive filtration system to improve product surface processing accuracy, save coolant, and reduce worker labor intensity. It is a widely used machine tool auxiliary equipment.

3. The spiral chip conveyor is driven by a reducer with a rotating shaft equipped with spiral blades to push the material forward (backward), which gathers at the discharge port and falls into the designated direction. The machine has a compact structure, occupies a small space, is easy to use, has few transmission links, and has an extremely low failure rate. It is particularly suitable for machine tools with narrow chip removal spaces and other chip removal methods that are difficult to install.

4. The chip collection vehicle is used to collect various chips conveyed from the machine tool by various chip conveyors. The bottom is equipped with wheels, which can send the chips out of the work site for easy collection and sorting. It is divided into dry and wet types. The dry material box can be tilted, and the chips can be poured out. The wet type is to add double-layer filters and oil discharge valves on the dry basis to facilitate the separation of coolant and chips in the chips, achieving the effect of recycling and environmental protection. It can also plan various chip collection vehicles with different volumes and functions according to different chip discharge volumes and user requirements.

When machining on a CNC lathe, the first step is to develop a program based on the part drawing. The programming code and instruction pattern mostly comply with ISO standards and corresponding national regulations. Then, the program is input into NC or CNC through an information carrier, and the CNC system announces instructions based on the program content. On the one hand, the motor in the servo system controls the movement of the machine tool through the transmission equipment to perform the part, and on the other hand, it controls other auxiliary movements of the machine tool, such as spindle speed, steering selection, cooling pump on/off, etc. The two work together to complete the machining content.
